DR. IAN ROBERTS, KIMBERLY DAMCOTT,
SUPERINTENDENT EXECUTIVE PRINCIPAL
MILLCREEK TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT
Brandi Sheffield is a dream to work with. She is driven, resourceful, and will do all she can to advance your school district’s professional development goals. I found her to be transparent and responsive throughout the planning process.
Our district administrative team engaged in intensive walk-through professional development to refine our supervision practices. We learned how to frame our calendars to schedule targeted cycles, a skill educational leaders need but overlook for impact.
One aspect of my professional practice that has been enhanced through this work is adding post-walkthrough conferencing with all teachers. These conversations have been incredibly beneficial as a means of supporting teachers and advancing building-wide initiatives.

Coaching, advice and relationship with Brandi is head and above the best I’ve ever experienced! Brandi is led with compassion and clarity of excellence for leaders. Her unwavering commitment and ability to address complicated problems with practical approaches is a jaw-dropping experience that makes every leader want to do and be better.
I began coaching with Brandi as a principal supervisor in Sacramento Unified School district. I was amazed at how quickly she made me feel at ease, heard and valued. Navigating a challenging environment Brandi showed me how to live in my values and execute at a high capacity.
Ready to transition to a higher role, I consulted with Brandi to prepare for the interview of CAO. Landing my dream impact job, I am excited for the continued expertise, counsel and support from Brandi that keeps my leadership at its top peak.
“Brandi is a great facilitator who is always well prepared.
I love the facilitation guides and all of the prep that happened before the meeting. I knew exactly what was going to happen because there was great collaboration.
Additionally, the responsiveness that Brandi had for any emails or phone calls was phenomenal. She responded immediately and that was essential in ensuring that the needs of my team were truly met.
Another great thing is her ability to adjust on the fly. When time starts to run short, she’s able to adjust so that people don’t feel like she’s rushing through the content. That speaks to her great facilitation skills.“
"Brandi is a stellar leadership coach and a dynamic facilitator. She coaches with the appropriate balance of critical reflection and rigor that matches one’s growth areas. She is a relentless leader for equity and supports her clients to do the same. Her facilitation of leadership teams is by far the best I have ever experienced in my 23 year career. She is insightful and utilizes high levels of emotional intelligence to hone in on team dynamics that aid in moving a group forward. It has been a gift to observe and learn from Brandi."
"Brandi’s coaching challenged me to think deeply about leadership. Any educational leader who must provide leadership within the context of a difficult structure or time of transition will benefit from Brandi’s expertise and insights. Brandi is flexible, relational and trustworthy. You can discuss the context of your leadership, landscape, and she will share meaningful coaching tools and strategies applicable to your scenario. She will provide meaningful actionable feedback in which you can take immediate action.”
"As a white woman educator, Brandi has supported me to lead with equity by understanding my privilege, my leadership presence and my leadership voice. She helped me to understand how my blindness was impeding my impact, even though I am a highly skilled educator and leader. Brandi’s work on my core values, goal setting and building professional relationships has been one of the transformative pieces of my leadership.
Brandi has a finesse and grace to her coaching, with clear accountability and support, that would benefit any leader!"
